Operations Manager

The Operations Manager oversees all aspects of a branch/area, managing warehouse, administrative, and customer service teams to meet branch operating income and EBITDA targets. Responsibilities include establishing and monitoring performance-based service metrics, planning purchasing to ensure adequate inventory and improve inventory turns, setting clear objectives, driving continuous improvement, developing benchmarks and best practices, leading training and development, coaching personnel, and implementing a proactive safety program to ensure a compliant, safe work environment. The role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems, and experience in distribution and/or building and construction industries; effective interpersonal and communication abilities are essential.
