Job Summary
Operations Manager in Boston overseeing the transportation department for DO & CO. Manage team, fleet, ramp safety, dispatch, and ensure compliance with airline, airport, ports, and regulatory rules. Implement process improvements, coordinate dispatch with production to maintain quality and efficiency, plan and schedule transportation activities, supervise drivers and helpers, review policies, ensure vehicle maintenance and safety (OSHA, DOT), and prepare cost-related reports. Draft and implement departmental policies and training plans; identify opportunities to optimize operations and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient transportation aligned with DO & CO standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership transportation experience preferably within food manufacturing.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
