Job Summary
Direct daily warehouse operations to meet customer expectations, ensuring labor aligns with workload and production requirements while monitoring productivity, quality, service levels, and operational KPIs. Lead startup meetings and end-of-shift reviews to drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce waste. Serve as the primary operational contact for the customer, quickly resolving concerns and identifying opportunities to improve service and add value. Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, leads, and hourly associates through regular one-on-one coaching and performance discussions to build a positive, engaged culture. Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting regular observations and audits, and investigating incidents to implement corrective actions. Manage labor costs to budget and monitor overtime and staffing efficiency to understand operational profitability and gross margin. Utilize Lean principles to improve workflow, analyze operational data to identify trends, and implement sustainable process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics
- Experience leading supervisors and hourly teams
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Ability to analyze operational metrics and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems
