Job Summary
Lead manufacturing operations, production scheduling, shipping/receiving, and inventory control while participating in leadership planning for company growth, financial, quality, and operational goals. Apply engineering experience to improve production flow, quality, and throughput by identifying process constraints, recurring issues, and material-flow problems. Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and standard work, developing and tracking KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. Coach team members and collaborate cross-functionally with quality, engineering, purchasing, and finance to reduce controllable operational costs by 3–5% annually.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or similar technical manufacturing role
- 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or a comparable manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to understand manufacturing processes at a technical level and translate that knowledge into operational execution
- Demonstrated success improving processes, reducing cost, improving quality, improving production flow, or increasing throughput
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, FMEA, visual management, root-cause analysis, and mistake-proofing methods
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, project management, financial impact, and performance metrics
- Ability to lead across functions through both direct authority and influence
- Strong communication, coaching, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience developing or improving production processes, work instructions, fixtures/tooling, process controls, test processes, or quality systems
- Experience in low- to mid-volume/high-mix electronics manufacturing
- ERP/MRP, production scheduling, inventory control, and materials flow experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, business, or a related field
- Engineering degree
- Lean or Six Sigma certification

- Master Black Belt
