Job Summary
Operations Manager for Glovo Italy leads the Supply Excellence team to drive operational efficiency and superior customer experience in a strategic Italian market. Responsibilities include owning supply operational metrics, building and coaching a high-performing team of Operations analysts (5+ FTEs), deep-diving into operational data to identify opportunities, designing and rolling out core processes to support fleet growth, partner satisfaction, and profitability, and overseeing courier supply health to ensure availability and compliance at scale in both stable and high-pressure environments. Key skills include data-driven decision making, strategic thinking, leadership and talent development, strong analytical rigor, process excellence, customer-centric mindset, problem-solving, ownership, effective communication, adaptability in a high-growth tech/logistics setting, and fluency in Italian and English.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Strategy Consulting, or equivalent high-impact environments
- Experience leading high-performing teams, including recruiting and developing top talent
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Strong exposure to high-growth, tech, e-commerce, or marketplace environments
- Background in industrial engineering, supply chain management and/or strategy consulting (e.g., MBB) is a strong plus
- Data Obsession & Analytical Rigor: ability to extract actionable insights from complex data sets and base decisions on evidence
- Strategic Thinking and Team Leadership experience
- Operational Expertise in fast-paced, high-responsibility roles (consulting, operations, industrial engineering or tech platforms)
