Job Summary
Operations Manager at CLEAR leading an airport-based team of hourly Ambassadors. Spend 80% of time on the floor in a customer-facing environment, ensure security and TSA policy adherence, support station operations, recruit and develop Ambassadors, coach for sales and customer service excellence, analyze metrics and feedback, and build strong internal/external relationships as part of the local station leadership team. Key competencies include leadership in fast-paced environments, coaching and mentoring, people management, security/compliance, stakeholder collaboration, data-driven decision making, and adapting to non-traditional schedules. The role requires on-site presence at the Arlington, VA station with responsibilities spanning security, service, and sales performance.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership experience in a customer-facing operation (minimum 3 years)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to motivate, mentor and influence others
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with employee engagement, customer satisfaction, sales and compliance
- Proficiency with daily technology usage
- Ability to complete a government background investigation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Availability for non-traditional schedule (weekends/holidays/early mornings/evenings)
