Operations Manager

Develop methods and procedures for efficient freight routing and movement within budget guidelines while utilizing the T.E.A.M. System to maximize resource capabilities. Prepare production and service records, observe personnel proficiencies to improve work practices, and review logs with shift supervisors to ascertain scheduling and administrative support needs. Maintain superior customer relations, recruit and interview prospective employees, and inspect facilities for safety, cleanliness, and security compliance. Coordinate line haul schedules with the Line Coordinator, issue directives for expedited freight, and investigate job-related accidents to ensure regulatory compliance. Assist in training, development, and evaluation of supervisory and production personnel while facilitating service center meetings and the TQM Continuous Improvement Process.
