Operations Manager

Develop methods and procedures for efficient freight routing and movement within budget guidelines while utilizing the T.E.A.M. System to maximize resource capabilities. Prepare production and service records, measure conformance to objectives, and inspect personnel proficiencies to improve work practices. Review logs with shift supervisors to ascertain scheduling needs, recruit and screen prospective employees, and coordinate line haul schedules for consistent on-time performance. Issue directives for expedited freight movement, investigate job-related accidents, and ensure compliance with DOT, EPA, ICC, and OSHA regulations. Inspect facilities for safety, cleanliness, and security standards, and facilitate continuous improvement processes through regular service center meetings.
