Operations Manager

Develop efficient freight routing and movement methods while maintaining error-free operations within budget guidelines. Utilize the T.E.A.M. System to maximize resource capabilities and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production records to measure conformance to service center objectives. Observe personnel proficiencies, review logs with shift supervisors to determine scheduling needs, and inspect facilities for safety, security, and cleanliness standards. Issue directives for expedited freight movement, coordinate line haul schedules with the Line Coordinator, and assist in accident investigations and controlled substance testing programs. Recruit and train subordinate employees, facilitate service center meetings, and drive the TQM Continuous Improvement Process to ensure consistent on-time service performance.
