Job Summary
Lead the terminal team and company drivers to meet stakeholder expectations for service and productivity while managing operational costs within the network. Ensure drivers follow SOPs, including POD submission, and monitor metrics like MPG, idle time, and OTD to ensure profitability. Manage safety, compliance training, home time, and HOS requirements. Handle onboarding for drivers and team members, including fuel card activation and expectation setting. Collaborate closely with recruiting to hire new drivers and identify opportunities for continuous process improvements. Requires 5+ years in transportation/logistics, 25% travel, and proficiency with EPOD/TMS systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years related work experience within Transportation and Logistics
- Travel: 25% as required
- Experience with EPOD or Electronic Bill of Lading systems
- Computer skills – proficiency and accuracy
- Strong knowledge of MS products
- Knowledge and/or experience within, TMS systems such as TMW, PowerFleet, PeopleNet (Elog) or other assets tracking experience

- Automotive experience preferred
