Job Summary
Manage warehouse staff through recruitment, scheduling, coaching, and motivation to ensure operational efficiency and cohesion. Coordinate work activities across departments, oversee cost control measures, and maintain equipment reliability via third-party vendors while safeguarding assets. Resolve complex operational issues, handle warehouse accounting and bookkeeping, and ensure compliance with safety and security procedures. Requires 5+ years of warehouse experience, 3+ years in supervision, and proficiency in MS Office and inventory systems. On-site presence required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 or more years of experience with warehouse work
- 3 or more years of supervisory or management experience
- Standing/Walking 75% of the time
- Stand or sit for long periods of time
- Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
- Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand
- Job will require presence on-site at the assigned work location
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse operational issues
- Ability to be a team-player and work effectively with senior-level staff
- Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance
- Proficient at MS Office
- Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized
- Ability to handle warehouse accounting and book-keeping
- Working knowledge of electronic inventory control system
- Working knowledge of safety and security procedures
- Professional certification
- Must pass pre-employment substance abuse testing
- Must successfully pass an E-Verify Check
- Must provide proof of vaccination
