Operations Manager - Corporate Mortgage Finance

Job Summary
CMF Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational management of Mortgage Servicing Assets (MSA) and Mortgage Warehouse Lending (MWL) within Huntington’s Corporate Mortgage Finance Group. The role requires 10+ years of senior-level mortgage operations leadership, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and scalable technology-enabled solutions. Responsibilities include leading operational execution across loan review, construction draw administration, collateral management, loan aging, margin maintenance, mark-to-market processes, counterparty oversight, and hedge monitoring; reviewing and approving transaction exceptions; building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders; preparing operational and ad hoc compliance reports; and coaching and developing staff through objective setting, performance management, and succession planning. The position is based in Dallas, TX, with a flexible in-office and work-from-home arrangement. Requirements emphasize a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 10+ years in mortgage finance and at least 7 years in senior operations management, plus strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent 10 or more years' experience in mortgage finance
- A minimum of 7 years of senior-level mortgage operations management experience
- Preferred experience in mortgage warehouse finance or other specialty finance sectors
- 7 or more years of demonstrated ability to lead client-facing operational teams handling complex functions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and influence others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business tools
