Job Summary
Lead and manage telecommunication aspects of on-site shows, facility installations, and daily operations. Direct crews and Operations Supervisors, assign priorities, and resolve installation issues while serving as General Manager during absences. Plan show setups, order materials, and lead installations of technology services including permanent tenant maintenance and connectivity to switches and routers. Read and interpret plans, schematics, and network drawings for copper wire and fiber infrastructure development. Manage equipment, company assets, and staff performance through annual evaluations and coaching. Requires 5–7 years in convention/show experience with supervisory responsibilities. Full-time, on-site only; travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 5 – 7 years in convention/show experience and data/ telecommunications industry
- 3 – 5 years supervisory experience
- Thorough knowledge in telephone connectivity and router switch utilization and function
- Manage and lead crews of 2 – 25
- Regular and consistent attendance
- ON - SITE ONLY, non-remote, non-hybrid
- Full-Time
- travel may be required, on occasion
- Must complete background check
- Must pass drug screen
