Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure all departments remain organized, efficient, and effective. Accept and register new shipments, dispatch crews daily, and assign drivers to maximize workload and ensure pickups. Input weekly payroll, process new hire paperwork, assist in recruiting OTR drivers, and audit fuel logs weekly. Oversee warehouse operations to maintain cleanliness and compliance with fire and RSMO inspections while managing equipment logs. Handle issues promptly and make decisions to increase company profitability and revenue. Requires previous managerial experience and logistics knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous managerial experience
- Knowledge of company systems
- Ability to articulate clearly
- Ability to problems solve quickly and effectively
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation industry
- Knowledge of residential, commercial, and military move process
