Job Summary
Operations Manager responsible for directing day-to-day operations of City Walk BHAM in Birmingham, ensuring staffing, maintenance, cleanliness, and guest experiences; leads event programming, coordinates with custodial and maintenance teams, oversees scheduling and safety, manages maintenance requests and facility infrastructure, and collaborates with leadership to deliver seamless service while upholding regulatory standards and safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of related knowledge and experience in building maintenance, project management, and public works or general park maintenance
- At least three (3) years of supervisory experience
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree with emphasis in a related technical field, business administration, engineering, or building science (or combination of experience and college)
- Valid State of Alabama Driver License
- Experience in project management, event or venue program planning
- Ability to coordinate, analyze, work independently, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Publisher)
