Job Summary
Lead the dining room with active floor presence to ensure exceptional guest experiences and seamless service. Partner with management to uphold hospitality standards, conduct pre-shift meetings, and manage restaurant opening and closing procedures. Maintain cleanliness, ensure Department of Health compliance, and oversee dining room inventories including china, glassware, and linens. Assist with POS updates, menu changes, and employee onboarding while training and coaching Front of House staff. Recruit and mentor hospitality professionals, support payroll and labor management, and manage cash handling procedures. Build relationships with neighborhood guests and execute promotions and seasonal initiatives. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing labor costs, budgets, and daily financial responsibilities
- Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
- Comfortable using restaurant technology including Toast POS, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and scheduling platforms
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and positive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
