Job Summary
The Department of Health seeks an Operations Manager C-SES who will serve as the Accreditation Section Manager within the Bureau of Community Health Assessment. This full-time, in-office role provides strategic direction, operational oversight, and subject-matter expertise to ensure successful PHAB accreditation efforts, maintains accredited status, oversees staff supervision, leads training workshops, coordinates with the State Health Office and partners, and drives program delivery and quality improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes supervision of staff, performance management, policy and program development, and representation at local, state, and national levels to advance public health accreditation and department objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: Relevant professional experience in public health or social services
- Performance management or quality improvement
- Strategic planning or systems analysis
- Program/policy development, monitoring, or evaluation
- Demonstrated experience applying research and evaluation methods, including: Collecting, organizing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
