Job Summary
Supervise daily driver activities, oversee standard operating procedures, and ensure transit routes continuously meet client needs. Make logistical staffing decisions, conduct driver interviews and training, and analyze ridership data to suggest route changes. Promote safe, efficient operations while communicating effectively with the client and vendors. Requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and willingness to complete Public Transportation Safety Certification within 90 days. Reports to the General Manager with onsite availability as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' Supervisory experience in Operations Management
- Willingness to participate in the Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Program within 90 days of contract start and complete certification within the first year
- Must be able to lift 25+ pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period
Desired Qualifications
- Prior knowledge of DMV policies and procedures
- Work experience in public or private alternative transportation demand management (TDM)
