Operations Manager

Job Summary
Oversee quarrying, fabricating, and manufacturing operations at the Marion, NC facility. Lead the NC operations by strategizing, planning, and organizing, reporting to the Director of Operations. Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, manage budgets, ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA and environmental regulations, staff development and training, implement cost-saving opportunities, and maintain safe, efficient production. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and seven years of industrial-management experience; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; proficiency with MS Office tools; and experience with Lean practices and stone industry knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required or equivalent experience
- Seven years of experience in industrial management required
- Experience using LEAN tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and managerial skills
- Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them to others
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with or knowledge of stone preferred
