Job Summary
Provide business, managerial, and technical direction for the area operation, including general supervision of Field Engineers and Technicians. Review and sign contracts, develop area profit plans, and hold management committee meetings to track business progress. Coordinate technical training, conduct performance reviews, and recommend salary changes for staff. Audit field jobs, develop weekly invoicing reports, and interview applicants while serving as the primary customer liaison. Willing to perform overnight travel to cover the field region.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years same or similar work experience in the Industrial Service Industry
- High degree of communication, supervisory, organizational and good management skills
- Effective communication, writing and verbally, with clients, peers, subordinates and management
- Strong computer skills including editing, formatting and using templates in Microsoft Word
- Use of Internet for standards/products/manufacturer research
- Operation of computer-controlled test equipment
- Willingness to do some overnight travel to cover field region and attend company meetings
- Four-year degree or graduate of Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent
- BSEE/BSEET
