Job Summary
Operations Manager to lead and optimize forwarding operations, liaise with branch managers, manage transportation and agency fees, handle special shipments (refrigerated and dangerous cargo), ensure compliance, build client relations with ports, customs and carriers, address client feedback, supervise clearing/forwarding staff, mentor team, quote various cargo types, and drive cost efficiency and process improvements. Responsibilities emphasize developing and executing forwarding operations strategies, maintaining KPI targets (clearance, transit time, customer service), reporting to management, and maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with TRA processes. Requires leadership experience (5-7 years) in Clearing and Forwarding, degree in related field, proficiency with SAP, and strong communication and analytical skills.
