Job Summary
Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a growing mobile pet grooming business. The role involves resolving real-time issues involving appointments, customers, vans, or staff; supporting dispatch operations, routing quality, and schedule flow; providing backup dispatch coverage; fleet/supply/field support including restocking vans, vehicle maintenance, and inventory management; onboarding and hiring logistics; driving process improvements; coordinating local marketing and partnerships; and driving KPI-related initiatives to improve revenue and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has an owner mindset, is highly organized, customer-service oriented, and can scale a premium field service operation. Primary focus includes ensuring fleet reliability, SOP adherence, and delivering excellent customer experiences across a mobile grooming footprint.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of operations, office management, dispatch, service management, hospitality, or similar experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment
- Comfortable learning and using scheduling / dispatch software systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Pet industry experience a plus
