Job Summary
Operations Manager needed to lead day-to-day operations for a growing mobile pet grooming business. Responsibilities include resolving real-time issues with appointments, vehicles, and staff; supporting dispatch operations and route quality; fleet maintenance and restocking; onboarding and staffing growth; implementing pricing updates and local marketing collaborations; driving customer satisfaction and repeat business; and maintaining SOPs, communication standards, and performance metrics. Ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, proactive, and capable of building structure and processes to scale a premium service. Flexible full- or part-time schedule with a focus on reliable, hands-on operations and team leadership in Maplewood, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of operations, office management, dispatch, service management, hospitality, or similar experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment
- Comfortable learning and using scheduling / dispatch software systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Pet industry experience a plus
