Job Summary
Operations Manager in Augusta, GA overseeing planning, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of all technical and operational activities for the department, plus management of department staff. Works directly with customers; ensures high-quality and safe services; guides employees on day-to-day responsibilities; manages equipment and personnel; expects scheduling of up to 50 personnel; requires 5+ years in NDT with nuclear or casting experience preferred and prior management experience; strong customer service and communication skills; must pass a drug screen and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. U.S. export-controls ITAR compliance applies. Possible relocation assistance available. Must be able to wear safety equipment, work from heights, and operate in industrial environments; shifts up to 12 hours/day with extended travel.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of related experience in NDT
- Nuclear and/or Casting experience preferred
- Prior Management experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Comfortable with scheduling upwards of 50 personnel
- Conflict management and resolution
- Pass a drug screen
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
