Job Summary
Oversee hotel AV floor operations and supervise technicians to ensure timely, high-quality equipment delivery and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include scheduling and timekeeping, reviewing and advising on billing, maintaining equipment sheets and inventory control, attending pre-production meetings (BEO, Pre-Cons), delegating tasks, and driving onsite upselling and exceptional customer service. Lead and develop a talented operations team, manage performance and training, and collaborate with onsite and vendor teams to uphold Encore standards and financial goals. Requires strong leadership, live AV hardware/software proficiency, and hospitality-focused problem-solving in a hotel/convention-center setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 4+ years of audio visual and customer service/hospitality experience including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Experience leading workflow and team members.
- Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment
- Proficiency with computer hardware
- Proficiency with computer software and programs, including the Internet and Microsoft Office
- Effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus.
