Job Summary
Lead the supervisory team of valets, bell persons, key clerks, and shuttle drivers to deliver first-class hospitality while managing budgets, P&L performance, and profitability for the Cherokee Hotel at Harrah's. Directly oversee scheduling, overtime, tip reporting, and payroll accuracy; handle hiring, onboarding, credentialing, and performance coaching for associates. Ensure compliance with gaming guidelines, safety SOPs, and client service standards through daily mystery shop reviews and weekly client reporting. Maintain high visibility at the site, manage contractual agreements, and train staff on equipment and procedures to meet financial and guest satisfaction objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Previous valet management experience
- Strong understanding of high-volume event parking
- Ability to adapt to changing demand of conferences, conventions, and other special events
- Ability to maintain service standards of the Hotel
- High level knowledge of budgets and P&L performance
- Ability to improve the overall performance and profitability of the account
- Ability to comprehend business metrics and ensure high performance and efficiency
- Ability to understand contractual agreements
- Ability to manage scheduling, overtime, tip reporting and timekeeping for associates
- Ability to ensure that payroll and accounting reports are on time and accurate
- Ability to effectively utilize standardized business systems
- Ability to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Ability to hire, onboard and credential new associates to meet gaming and client guidelines
- Ability to recognize great performance and promote an environment that retains talented associates & develops future leaders
- Ability to respond proactively to associate feedback and suggestions
- Ability to ensure that new associates receive proper orientation and training
- Ability to identify where the team and individual performers need to improve and properly train and coach
- Ability to lead effective associate meetings and ensure that shift huddles happen on every shift
- Ability to coach in the moment and provide consistent and timely performance documentation
- Ability to guarantee consistency in service experience on all shifts
- Ability to coordinate and lead a team of salaried managers
- Ability to strategically schedule based off needs of the property
- Ability to ensure quality service delivery

- Ability to maintain weekly reporting to the client as well as the Tribal Gaming Commission
- Ability to know when to be present at the site and maintains a high level of visibility
