Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations for DNO's operated subsea production systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production through strong operational leadership. Oversee subsea integrity management, maintenance strategies, and fitness-for-service assessments while driving barrier management, process safety, and operational risk management. Manage interfaces with host operators and technical service providers, support subsea intervention planning and execution, and provide operational expertise to development projects and non-operated assets. Ensure compliance with company management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Contribute to operational strategy, continuous improvement, and competence development while representing DNO in technical discussions with partners, regulators, and industry stakeholders. Report to the VP Production with direct access to decision-makers within Norway's largest independent oil and gas company.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Around 20 years' experience within offshore oil and gas operations
- Extensive knowledge of subsea production systems, coupled with a thorough understanding of platforms and downstream systems
- Strong experience with integrity management and production-phase operations
- A successful track record of working across organisational boundaries, e.g. with host operators, technical service providers and joint ventures
- A broad technical understanding of offshore facilities' operations and maintenance systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across organisations
- Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Norway
Desired Qualifications
- Professional engineering accreditation and relevant offshore certifications are considered an advantage
