Operations Manager

Operations Manager role based in Kenedy, TX, reporting to the Plant Manager. Responsibilities include budgeting for the Production department, scheduling for Aquaflow and Derivatives production groups, training qualification of personnel, coordinating maintenance downtime, optimizing day-to-day operations to meet customer expectations, increasing production capacity while managing costs, leading root-cause analyses for recurring losses and quality issues, allocating resources effectively, collecting/analyzing data to identify waste, developing systems to track productivity and asset performance, and participating in management of change (MOC) for process/equipment changes. The role requires leadership of production teams, cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, engineering, and EH&S, and strong emphasis on safety, GMP/PSM compliance, and continuous improvement. Preferred experience includes working in a union environment, ERP/MRP systems (SAP), and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies; knowledge of process safety management (PSM) and manufacturing best practices is valued.
