Job Summary
Lead store operations in large-format retail environments by embedding consistent routines that deliver availability, waste, and shrink metrics. Review store processes to drive strong performance across Ambient, Fresh, George, and General Merchandising departments while adhering to contract base management and wage control. Coach leadership teams and manage diverse staff to ensure shopfloor standards, promote healthy trading competition, and maintain a culture of service and pride. Prioritize promotional activities, manage ER cases, and use data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and reduce shrink.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing diverse teams in a large-format retail environment
- Strong operational knowledge across food and non-food departments
- A track record of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink
- Confidence in developing large teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience
- Experience managing ER cases and understanding HR policies and processes
- Strong organisational skills
- Exceeding customer service
- Work Shift: Afternoons
