Job Summary
Operations Manager responsible for the day-to-day management of a cold storage warehouse, including inventory movement, resource scheduling, and overseeing safety and security programs. Partners with sales, inventory control, and operations support to ensure product availability; drives KPIs related to cost, productivity, customer service, profits, and staff performance. Applies long-term labor forecasting based on sales input and management direction; fosters teamwork, open communication, and a culture of safety and compliance across the facility.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years warehouse management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Strong leadership skills with emphasis on guiding and developing a team, customer service, communications, and planning
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
