Job Summary
Operations Manager for a cold storage warehouse overseeing day-to-day facility operations, inventory movement, staff scheduling, safety and security programs, and KPI-driven performance. Responsibilities include assigning work and managing performance, coordinating with sales/inventory control/ops support to ensure product availability, analyzing operational reports to identify trends and recommend solutions, long-term labor forecasting based on sales input, fostering productivity and teamwork, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Requires leadership, experience in warehouse management, WMS proficiency, and ability to present information to customers and staff.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years warehouse management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule including weekends if needed
- Strong leadership, communication, and planning skills
