Job Summary
Operations Manager for a cold storage warehouse responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, inventory movement, scheduling of staff, and maintaining safety and security programs. Collaborates withSales, Inventory Control, and Operations Support to ensure product availability; analyzes operational reports to identify trends and recommends solutions to management; performs long-term labor forecasting based on sales forecasts; fosters a productive, accountable, and collaborative work environment; ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; builds cross-department partnerships to meet KPIs related to cost, productivity, customer service, profits, and team performance.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills, with emphasis on guiding and developing a team, customer service, communications, and planning
- 5 years warehouse management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees of the organization
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
