Job Summary
Oversee the day-to-day operations of a cold storage warehouse, including inventory movement, resource scheduling, and maintaining safety and security programs. Lead and develop a warehouse team, assign work, review performance, and collaborate with sales and inventory control to ensure product availability. Drive KPI achievement related to cost, productivity, customer service, and profits; perform long-term labor forecasting based on sales input; foster teamwork, open communication, and a culture of accountability; ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; build cross-functional partnerships across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years warehouse management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Strong leadership, team development, customer service, communications, and planning skills
