Job Summary
Oversee daily operations, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met for smart building and DDC controls solutions. Lead and manage a team of project managers, engineers, and technicians to optimize efficiency, while developing strategies for business growth and process improvement. Ensure successful deployment of IoT, analytics, and energy management systems, and foster relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners to drive customer satisfaction and business development. Monitor financial performance through forecasting, budgeting, and cost control measures, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Identify opportunities for innovation and emerging technologies, provide training and mentorship to staff, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years in building automation, smart building solutions, or DDC controls
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
- Strong understanding of building automation systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost control
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present to stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to travel within Florida as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent experience to Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
- PMP certification
- LEED certification
- Industry-specific certifications
