Operations Manager

The Operations Manager oversees the contractor's labor force and deploys resources—tools, materials, and parts—to ensure all contract requirements for comprehensive facility support (CFS) are met. This role manages day-to-day O&M activities for large facilities, coordinating staff and resources to ensure efficient, safe, and quality service delivery. Responsibilities include directing, scheduling, and dispatching staff and resources to meet contract requirements; authorizing use of materials, manpower, and equipment; ensuring contract and task order compliance through active supervision and reporting; proactively identifying and addressing operational challenges; interfacing with client representatives to ensure consistent and responsive service; and implementing best practices and organizational improvements. Working conditions involve a mix of office and field work with potential overtime or emergency response. Physical requirements include the ability to move around large facilities. Requires a Secret Clearance, an associate’s degree or equivalent training/certification in O&M or Facilities Management, and substantial experience (15+ years in related O&M/Facilities Management, 5+ years in large facility/operations support). The role is located in Blackstone, VA (US) and is described as full-time with in-person duties.
