Job Summary
Manage drivers across multiple airports while ensuring seamless, safe, on-time crew transportation and upholding high service standards. Directly oversee scheduling, coaching, and performance management to boost service quality and morale, while enforcing DOT regulations and conducting regular vehicle and driver inspections. Serve as the primary contact for airline clients to address concerns proactively, and review key metrics to identify trends and communicate performance to senior leadership. Requires 5+ years in operations or logistics with at least 2 years in management, plus open availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. On-site in Morrisville, NC.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, transportation, retail, hospitality, or a similar field
- At least 2 years in a management capacity (Overseeing teams, managing schedule, & Day-to-Day operations)
- Proven leadership in transportation, logistics, or a related field
- A hands-on, proactive operator who leads by example and thrives under pressure
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities to engage employees, airline partners, and executives alike
- Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety best practices
- Open availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support a 24/7 operation
- Tech-savvy for scheduling, reporting, and performance tracking tools
- Must reside in the RDU area
