Job Summary
Oversee and manage daily service-related scheduling, customer care, and invoicing while planning workforce and material needs for seasonal demand. Coordinate vehicle fleet maintenance, repairs, and licensing, and design service processes including work orders, parts requisition, and dispatch activities. Maintain fuel distribution and inventory quality compliance, ensure timely safety meetings, and manage vehicle, employee, and DOT compliance. Review and approve weekly time cards, conduct performance reviews, and lead coaching focused on customer service. Requires valid Class A or B CDL with hazardous materials endorsements, willingness to work evenings, weekends, and outdoors in all weather, and ability to lift 75 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Valid Hazardous Materials, Airbrakes and Tanker endorsements
- Working knowledge of DOT safety requirements
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Past field work in the propane and distillate retail business
- CTEP certified
- Gas piping experience
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfortable with technology for daily use of various back-office systems that support the business
- Ability to provide leadership through coaching and mentoring with a focus on customer service
