Job Summary
Supervise drivers and lead teams to consistently exceed established goals while implementing forward-looking plans that drive operational excellence. Manage financial resources by developing annual operating plans, ensuring accurate billing and payroll, and adjusting metrics to meet business targets. Recruit, train, and retain quality associates while establishing a safety culture through continuous improvement and proactive hazard correction. Collaborate with local customers to understand emerging needs and optimize routes, carrier selection, and trailer loading for efficiency. Monitor fleet utilization and fuel efficiency, build vendor relationships, and seize profitable business opportunities to achieve cost savings.
