Job Summary
Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive manufacturing environment while maintaining a safety-first culture through EH&S collaboration. Ensure operational activities remain on time and within budget, monitor demand and capacity to optimize hourly labor levels, and develop systems tracking safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance. Establish goals, conduct performance appraisals, provide coaching for direct reports, assist in budget development, and coordinate work efforts with training and motivation programs. Enforce company policies and procedures while resolving employee problems. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or Engineering, minimum 7 years in manufacturing, and preferred experience as a Production or Plant Manager with Lean, Six Sigma, and IATF knowledge. Reports to the Plant Manager at our Albion, IL facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or Engineering or equivalent in education and experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Production Manager, Operations Manager, or Plant Manager - preferred
- Knowledge of automotive air and cabin air filter manufacturing – preferred
