Operations Management Trainee

Operations Management Trainee will support the shop management process and assist in cost savings, customer retention, and metric-based initiatives. This role works cross functionally across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental, and is responsible for customer relationship activities, proactive issue resolution, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include coordinating with the rental department for maximum utilization, partnering with Sales on new business and customer calls, managing running costs and maintenance overheads, ensuring policy adherence to optimize costs, coordinating with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction, overseeing PM scheduling and follow-up, tracking breakdowns and vehicle status updates, and supervising Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility. Additional responsibilities include relocation within the business unit after training. Key skills include detail orientation, strong verbal and written communication, multitasking, time management, flexibility, mechanical skills, interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred qualifications include 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution and advanced PC skills; basic understanding of business finance, controls and metrics. The role offers salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 with potential bonuses and benefits for full-time employees.
