Operations & Maintenance Technician IV - Electrical (Desert Region)

Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical systems associated with pumps, turbines, generators, transformers, motors, and related treatment and distribution facilities. Perform preventive and corrective troubleshooting to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted system operations while monitoring equipment performance using advanced diagnostic and predictive testing methods. Support the operation of high-voltage overhead and underground electrical distribution systems and upgrade capacity to meet evolving operational demands for water treatment, conveyance, and hydroelectric generation. This role requires an 8/6 schedule (Wed–Wed) with off-shift hours and 15-minute stand-by response capabilities for emergencies. Candidates must hold a valid California Class C driver's license and possess at least six years of electrical maintenance experience in pump, treatment, or hydroelectric facilities.
