Job Summary
Lead field operations for assigned assets by performing preventative maintenance inspections, executing corrective repairs, and conducting root cause analysis for site outages. Serve as Team Lead for crews, coordinate site access with host facilities, and manage material procurement while documenting all service visits. Independently diagnose complex electrical issues using cloud-based ticketing systems and participate in weekend monitoring rotations. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and NFPA 70E regulations while fostering trust with internal and external stakeholders. Requires 80% field travel, evening/weekend availability, and on-call status for emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience installing, troubleshooting, or maintaining utility-scale PV solar equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Frequent physical activity including walking, climbing, bending, and lifting (up to 40 lbs)
- Some evening and weekend work is required
- Some periods of being on-call to address outages, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues affecting operating assets
- 80% field work with frequent travel to project sites

Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical, structural, and construction plans
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical equipment construction and operation
- Experience with the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Nextracker and/or ATI certification preferred
- NABCEP certification (or equivalent) preferred
- Strong computer and technical skills
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
