Job Summary
Operations & Maintenance Site Operations Manager responsible for hard services of the Glendale, KY battery-manufacturing facility under an O&M contract. Oversees a technical team and scheduler/planners, plans preventative maintenance, manages lifecycle activities and budgets, ensures contract terms and performance requirements align with customer needs, maintains CMMS data, and provides leadership in customer communications. Duties include supervising supervisors and staff, hiring and performance management, training on JCI policies, reading blueprints/as-built drawings, managing change orders, warranty activities, and coordinating across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems to keep uninterrupted operations across day and night shifts within a Saturday–Monday 5:30 AM–6:00 PM window (and across shifts). Key qualifications include a BS in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent, 10+ years in facility management, 5+ years in relevant trades, 2+ years leadership, OSHA knowledge, and desired BOMA/IFMA designations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years experience in Facility Management discipline
- 5+ years of HVAC, Facilities, Housing or parallel industry experience
- 2 years of management leadership experience
- BOMA and/or IFMA designation (RPA/CFM) preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprint and as-built drawings
- Experience directing, planning, developing, and implementing strategic and operational plans
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and customer meetings
- Experience in preventive maintenance management and repairs for HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, CRAC Units, electrical systems, fire alarm systems, security systems, and building automation systems
