Job Summary
Operations & Maintenance Manager, Data Center Project — Amarillo, TX: Lead day-to-day field operations and manage a high-performing field service team on a data center project. Ensure asset reliability, serve as primary operational interface with the customer, enforce safety protocols (OSHA), read and interpret Long-Term Service Agreements, manage vendors and subcontractors, deliver regular operational reports and KPI dashboards, and maintain CMMS data integrity. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Technology, Facilities Management, or a related technical field; equivalent experience considered
- 5+ years of experience in operations and maintenance management, preferably within data center, energy, or critical infrastructure environments
- Leadership experience managing and developing field service teams
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, UPS, generators, and data center infrastructure; familiarity with LTSAs and vendor contracts
- CMMS proficiency (IBM Maximo, UpKeep, Fiix or equivalent)
- CPR, OSHA 30, and NFPA 70E certifications upon hire; data center certifications (CDCP, CDCE) a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Must live within daily commutable distance to Amarillo, TX
