Job Summary
The Operations and Logistics Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Albuquerque Branch, managing staff and ensuring quality customer service while meeting budget performance. Key responsibilities include managing P&L statements, fostering team collaboration, ensuring efficient inventory management, and participating in hiring processes. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, three years in a warehouse/shipping role, and strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with shipping processes, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office is preferred, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Equivalent of three years’ experience in a warehouse or shipping department
- Ability to navigate LTL and full truckload sites effectively
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Strong work ethic
- Experience in shipping is desirable
- Familiarity with ERP and LX software
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to operate a computer and keyboard with accuracy and efficiency
- Must be able to stand and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
- Must be able to withstand both hot and cold atmosphere depending on weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools
- SAP and Sales Force experience
