Job Summary
Operations & Logistics Financial Analyst at Kärcher North America serves as the financial intelligence hub for Fayetteville, AR distribution center and broader supply chain operations. Own the monthly analysis of distribution, freight, intralogistics, and packaging expenses for US and Canada, track actuals vs. budget, and narrate variances to leadership. Build predictive models correlating internal costs with external drivers (fuel indices, spot freight rates, commodity prices, ocean container rates). Lead physical inventory counts and coordinate with external auditors to ensure financial statement accuracy through reconciliations. Partner with Supply Chain and Sourcing to model supplier negotiations, mode/carrier selections, 3PL transitions, and network optimization. Participate in S/4HANA implementation by executing test scenarios and migrating master data, while documenting SOPs. Target education includes a Bachelor’s degree (MBA or data analytics/supply chain specialization is a plus); 3–6 years in cost accounting or financial analysis in manufacturing/distribution/logistics; strong Excel skills; SAP and Power BI are assets; travel at least quarterly to Fayetteville, AR. The role emphasizes financial modeling, inventory oversight, and cross-functional collaboration within Supply Chain and Sourcing, with an emphasis on cost optimization and data-driven decision making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Supply Chain Management
- 3–6 years of experience in cost accounting, supply chain finance, or financial analysis within manufacturing, distribution, or logistics
- Analytical capability with regression or correlation modeling; comfortable with large data sets
- Proficiency in Excel; SAP experience and BI/reporting tools like Power BI is a major asset
- Willingness to travel to Fayetteville, AR distribution center at least quarterly
