Operations Leader

As a Key Holder for Petco, lead store operations on the sales floor by supervising partners, opening/closing the store, and serving as a primary point of contact in management's absence. Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service, support training for new partners, and uphold animal care standards, safety, and policies. Drive merchandising and inventory activities, including planograms, pricing accuracy, signage, restocking, cycle counts, and inventory integrity. Handle transactions and cash with accuracy while ensuring an engaging customer experience and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. This role emphasizes leadership on the floor, problem solving, and delivering a great experience every day.
