Job Summary
As a Key Holder at Petco, lead store operations on the floor, supervise partners, open and close the store, and serve as a point of contact when management is not present. You’ll deliver friendly, knowledgeable service, uphold animal care and safety standards, manage merchandising and inventory (including planograms, pricing accuracy, signage, and promotional setups), assist with training new partners, maintain a clean and visually appealing environment, and ensure smooth daily operations with cash handling and POS transactions. This role focuses on on-floor leadership, problem-solving in real-time, and delivering an exceptional customer and pet-parent experience in the Pet Care Center in Honolulu.
Required Qualifications
- Previous retail experience required; key holder or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash and transactions
- Able to work in proximity to animals and handle cash/transactions as a primary responsibilities
