Job Summary
Drive safety culture and implement the EHS management system to ensure continual improvement of performance and compliance with all policies. Lead personnel and equipment in the Operations area to meet production objectives at the highest quality and lowest possible cost. Continuously develop knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards to ensure utilization of best production methods. Lead and contribute to the development of process and product improvements, new processes, and new products to drive cost reduction, efficiency improvements, sales increases, and improved customer satisfaction. Oversee all operational activities and housekeeping efforts to ensure employee and equipment safety while adhering to ISO and IATF certification standards. Ensure training and development of all operating personnel to meet TS16949 standards with skills evaluated at appropriate intervals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Extensive experience in managing/supervising others in a complex and fast paced environment with demonstrated results, preferably manufacturing based
- Demonstrated success as a Coordinator/Specialist
- Experience in implementing the business plan
- Understanding the cost and budgetary processes, inventory control procedures and methods, as well as operational procedures
