Job Summary
Oversee inventory management by receiving, storing, and organizing stock while conducting regular audits to prevent shortages. Implement organizational systems to maintain back-of-house cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper documentation of all inventory movements. Lead back-of-house staff through training and team meetings to enforce standard operating procedures and foster continuous improvement. Collaborate with the front desk and sales teams to adjust inventory levels based on product demand and ensure seamless customer experiences. Inspect incoming shipments for quality and condition, managing supplier coordination and restocking processes to minimize waste.
Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to spend up to 100% of work time standing and moving
- Advanced computer literacy
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs
- Flexible work schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- additional education or training in operations, inventory management, or retail is a plus
- Previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management systems, and pet care products/services is desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach to addressing challenges
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment
